We wouldn’t have come this far without them.” Life is impermanent; one should transform sufferings into blessings by doing good. Care recipient Ng Biau Tua and her son expressed their gratitude to the volunteers by vowing to give of themselves wholeheartedly to help the needy. Be a Benefactor to Others N g Biau Tua called out gleefully when the volunteers came to visit, “My saviours are here.” Holding the volunteer’s hands, she said, “You’re finally here, after two months of absence.” Tzu Chi volunteer Ng Ai Choon, who had been busy visiting other care recipients in the past two months, had not visited Biau Tua until today. Upon seeing Ai Choon, Biau Tua started chatting with her happily. Biau Tua might not remember the name of every volunteer who had extended care and concern to her, but she was certain that many of them are saviours to those in need.
