Relief for Flood Victims Heavy rainfall brought by Typhoon Noru triggered widespread floods in Ubon Ratchathani Province in the northeast of Thailand. On October 13 and 14, a dozen of Tzu Chi volunteers and staff distributed relief supplies to 1,100 households in three shelters in the remote Warin Chamrap District, which was facing shortage of resources. Meanwhile, the team also distributed aid to 100 taxi drivers in Ubon Ratchathani. A flood victim accepting relief supplies from Tzu Chi on the rooftop.
