Even if there is something we do not understand, we can still get some ideas from the pictures.” Shanmugawalli is glad to be able to learn the Dharma with everyone. She takes each activity as an opportunity to contribute. For her, it is better to attend the book study session and learn from the sharing of others, than to idle away time at home. Moreover, the topic shared at each session could inspire the participants and enhance their understanding about Tzu Chi. Regardless of the language barrier, the Indian community could also understand the Buddhist teachings and find inner peace with the help of translation. Furthermore, they could feel their personal growth and the positive changes in their lives as they put the teachings into practice. Hopefully, more people can participate in this musical adaptation and experience the benefits of learning the Dharma to their lives. * Each Dharma boat represents a group of 10 to 15 people participating in the musical adaptation of the Lotus Sutra.
