23 TZU CHI 141 A joyful pilgrimage towards Home By Yo Choon Yen Photo by Ng Pei Sze A total of 246 people joined the prostrating pilgrimage held outside the Muar Tzu-Chi Jing Si Hall, which is near completion, on April 23 and 24. Joy was overflowing when the participants entered the Jing Si Hall premises. Volunteer Sen Ah Wat, who has been a Tzu Cheng Faith Corps member for over two decades, used to be the one leading the pilgrimage group. However, on this day, he used a wheelchair and followed at the back. He sighed at how time had passed and how life was unpredictable, but he was grateful for the blessings to witness the construction of the Jing Si Hall. “I hope everyone can make good use of this building,” he said, adding that he looks forward to be a gardener to welcome visitors with pleasant landscaping.
