In conjunction with Tzu Chi’s 3-in-1 commemoration of Buddha Day, Mother’s Day and Tzu Chi Day,Tzu Chi Malacca saw many families participating in its Buddha bathing ceremony to pay homage to Buddha. The children also expressed gratitude to their parents by washing their feet. Many parents were moved to tears as their children knelt and washed their feet. The air was infused with the comforting scent of love and warmth, especially when parents and children hugged each other tightly at the end of the activity. May 8. Tzu Chi Kuching held its first Buddha bathing ceremony since the pandemic. At 7 a.m., 193 volunteers gathered at the car park for the solemn ceremony, which was held concurrently with the grand ceremony in Tzu Chi Taiwan. More than 700 people participated in the mobile Buddha bathing ceremony from 9 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. The continuous flow of visitors, especially the sight of them exchanging greetings with one another, was a testament of warmth and love.
