The village chief, who was also a flood victim, was grateful for the volunteers’ help during the difficult time. “Tzu Chi volunteers have given a lot of help to the villagers, and I am deeply moved. On behalf of the villagers, I would like to express our deepest gratitude to Tzu Chi. Tzu Chi is really great!” An affected villager, Suhaina Mohammad, had expressed her need to the volunteers who visited her home earlier, “My children’s computers and books were soaked in floodwaters and damaged. I hope some organization will donate computers for my children to continue their online lessons.” Her request was noted and forwarded to volunteer, Benjamin Chong, who is good in computer repair, for further action.
