A Thousand Children Bathed Their Mothers’ Feet A thousand pairs of mother-child participated in an online filial piety activity organized by Da Ai TV Indonesia, in conjunction with Mother’s Day*, which is celebrated locally on December 22 annually. The children knelt before their mothers and gently bathed and massaged their feet, before serving them tea and dessert. Some mothers were moved to tears feeling the filial affection. Witnessed by the Indonesian World Records Museum (MURI), the event won Da Ai TV Indonesia the honour of setting the record for the biggest number of participants for a foot-bathing filial piety activity.
