28 First NGO to set up a vaccination centre To help speed up achieving herd immunity, Tzu Chi KL & Selangor became the first NGO to participate in the National Covid-19 Immunization Programme. The vaccination centre set up at the KL Tzu- Chi Jing Si Hall operated from June 11 to August 22, 2021. Thanks to its commendable services, Tzu Chi was again entrusted by the Ministry of Health to administer booster jabs from December 4, 2021 to January 16, 2022. A total of 47,355 doses of vaccines were administered through the two rounds of services manned by a total of 6,600 and 780 non-medical and medical volunteer- shifts, respectively.
