No one can escape this process. Some people work hard their whole lives in order to make money but fail to take good care of their own health. Once they fall ill, no matter how much money they have, they cannot trade it for good health. Most people fail to understand that “Even with one hundred acres of farmland, we can only enjoy a single bowl of rice,” or that “In a house with hundreds of rooms, we can only sleep in one bed.” They struggle in pursuit of fame and profit, but even if they get what they want, can they take it with them when life comes to an end? Truly, we cannot take anything with us; the only thing we carry with us in death is our karma. H
