They adapt, adjust and emerge with flying colours. Principal Lim was invited to share her success stories and experiences at an online summit. W hen the new school year began for 2021, it was back to familiar ground of online classes for the primary and secondary school students. Teachers were more prepared, fluent in Zoom communication software and the varied teaching tools. On the first day of school, the secondary school teachers led an online icebreaker game for all students. This was a far cry from 2020, where teachers were initially clueless and fumbled Photograph by Ng Sook Jen to find their way, by adapting and adjusting along the way for the best workable solution. For the online timetable alone, four adjustments were made to adapt to students’ ability to focus and absorb, the time needed for preparation of teaching materials, and the differing teaching and learning needs of students of various ages. Principal Lim held fortnightly meetings with the teachers to gather feedback and to address and resolve any issues raised by
