05 TZU CHI 130 A housewife upset over an empty fridge; a disheartened taxi driver with no customer despite having driven around for a day; a helpless retrenched worker with children and a pregnant wife to feed… In 2020, the Covid-19 pandemic impacted the global economy, Malaysia was not spared either. All were affected, with many families losing their livelihoods. In July 2020, Tzu Chi KL & Selangor launched the “Kita1Keluarga” relief programme, providing a three-month financial relief to help affected families who were in need. This programme not only provided timely relief, but also served to ignite hope in the face of challenges. Kita 1 Keluarga, We Are One Family
