The Computer Whiz-kid DAO (Short talk series) Every Monday, 8 p.m. Soothing Moments (Talk show/interview series) Every Wednesday, 8 p.m. Hasan Al-Akraa, a 20-year-old young man, founded the Al-Hasan Volunteer Network to provide medical care, financial aid, but most of all to bring hope to refugee communities and local Malaysians. Being the driving force behind this organization, which has over 500 volunteers, he fully understands the plight of refugees because he himself witnessed bombing and fled from Syria to Malaysia when he was only 12 years of age. As a child, Benjamin loved to take apart his electronic toys to see how they worked. Albeit nearly killing himself when he was seven, his curiosity has not been doused. Now, he fixes and reassembles faulty computers into functional ones for needy students. “I could have done much more if I had my own computer earlier.
