He said, “Tzu Chi volunteers always work with love that transcends boundaries. In Cambodia, we helped Buddhist victims; in the Philippines, we helped Christian victims; in Jakarta and Istanbul, the victims were mostly of Islamic faith…” To him, kindness is the best form of humanity, and it will always return to the givers. Often times, when someone in the family has cancer, the whole family is shrouded in gloom. For Kuan Mun Jen, she and her husband were both diagnosed with cancers in the same year. Having gone through 17 years, she is grateful that the cancer has transformed her life.
