Sworn in as a Senator in May 2020, she strives for the welfare of PWDs, raising issues on their education, employment and infrastructure. Won Malaysia’s first gold medal in the Men’s 100 m event at the 2016 Paralympic Games in Rio, Brazil. He is also the first Malaysian athlete to win the Best Asian Male Para Athlete award in 2018. Won the 2015 Ten Outstanding Young Malaysians Award; participated in Taiwan’s ultra-marathon for eight consecutive years, where he completed the 91.18 km in 24 hours, a world record for runners with cerebral palsy. Member of Parliament and lawyer, nicknamed the “Tiger of Jelutong”. He spoke up for justice and helped defendants who could not afford a lawyer.
