The world of Tzu Chi September 2020 (Vol.126)

Honouring a Legacy of Justice ThroughAction July 18 has been declared by the United Nations as Nelson Mandela International Day. This year, in conjunction with Tzu Chi’s 30 years of environmental protection mission, representatives from Liaison Office of South Africa in Taiwan joined Tzu Chi volunteers in a beach cleaning activity in Linkou District, New Taipei City. Under the scorching sun, the representatives, their families and Tzu Chi volunteers spent 67 minutes picking up rubbish along the shoreline, honouring in action the legacy of the late Nelson Mandela, a global icon who had dedicated 67 years in serving humanity and speaking out for justice.
