Ingredients: Yam ........................ 500 g (shredded) Tempeh ...................... 60 g (chopped) Carrot ..................... 1 stalk (shredded) King oyster mushroom ................................. 1 stalk (chopped) Seasonings: Flour .................................. 3 tbsp Sweet potato starch ........... 2 tbsp Pepper powder .................... 1 tsp Five spice powder ............... 1 tsp Salt ....................................... 1 tsp Water .................... in moderation (serves 6) Fragrant Yam Balls Alternatively, deep-fry the yam balls if desired. Tip: Preparation: 1. Fry the chopped tempeh and king oyster mushroom over medium heat until golden brown. Set aside. 2. Combine the shredded yam and carrot with the fried tempeh and mushroom in a large bowl and mix well. 3. Add the seasonings and mix to achieve a paste- like consistency. Roll the paste into balls. 4. Coat the inside of a steamer basket with a layer of oil and arrange the balls within.
