Carefree Learning for Students As part of the Happy Campus Programme, Tzu Chi USA conducts literacy programmes, after-school programmes and weekly distributions of food supplies for children, in addition to providing students with school supplies, books and long-term care to motivate them in their studies as well as reduce school dropout and juvenile delinquency rates. On August 27, 2019, Tzu Chi volunteers from Austin, USA distributed backpacks and stationery to students of Overton Elementary School who come from low-income households, enabling them to start the new school year with peace of mind and concentrate on their studies.
