The World Of Tzu Chi(Vol.115).
Spreading Love through Bone Marrow Donation In 2015, the World Marrow Donor Association (WMDA) declared that World Marrow Donor Day (WMDD) would be celebrated on the third Saturday of September yearly. The objective of WMDD is to pay tribute to bone marrow donors worldwide, while inspiring the public to pledge themselves as donors in an effort to save more lives. On September 7, 2019, Tzu Chi volunteers in Taiwan joined a street procession held in conjunction with a cultural festival organized by the Yilan County Government, carrying eye-catching banners around Yilan and Luodong to raise awareness on bone marrow and stem cell donation in the spirit of WMDD. Tzu Chi volunteers in Taiwan commemorated World Marrow Donor Day by taking part in a street procession, raising banners and shouting slogans to spread the message on bone marrow and stem cell donation.
