The world of Tzu Chi (Vol.111)

TZU CHI 111 39 On April 19, 2019, a fire ravaged a double-storey wooden house in the town of Tambunan, a 45-minute drive away from Keningau, Sabah. The family of ten residing in the house escaped the flames unscathed, while managing to salvage their important documents in the process. However, their remaining possessions and furniture were destroyed in the fire. The following day, Tzu Chi volunteers delivered clean second-hand clothes, blankets and cash relief to the fire victims, besides introducing the victims to Tzu Chi’s altruistic spirit that transcends race and religion.
