Ushering in the New Year with Wisdom and Harmony The Year-end Blessing Ceremony is an annual event where Tzu Chi volunteers, donors and public members get together to reflect on the past one year, receive Master Cheng Yen’s red envelope of blessings and wisdom, express gratitude for one another, and fortify the aspiration to spread kindness and love to every corner around the world. The theme for the 2018 Year-end Blessing Ceremony was: “Nurture a love for life, a heart of gratitude and respect for one another. Foster the spirit of harmony, prevent conflicts and create blessings hand in hand.” It conveys the Master’s wishes and expectation for everyone to play their role in cultivating physical and spiritual well- being, as well as, bringing peace to the world.
