2021 • 10 26 Sprouting seeds of kindness A small act of kindness goes a long way. The beneficiaries reciprocated the kindness received by donating spare change to the coin banks. He was grateful to receive help from Tzu Chi. He said, “I feel comfortable and happy coming here. Thank you, Tzu Chi, for lending me a hand when I need it.” As he concurred with the spirit of Tzu Chi’s bamboo coin bank, that small kindness when accumulated, can go a long way to accomplish great deeds, he brought a coin bank home and shared the idea with his daughters, who immediately donated to help others. Azman handed over the coin bank to volunteers on the following distribution day and said, “I used to help others, and now that I am in trouble, Tzu Chi comes to my aid.
