TZU CHI 135 49 Chi more than a decade ago. She proceeded to donate the money she had saved in it to Tzu Chi, as she wanted to continue her wish to do good deeds. Saw Tin encouraged Saw Yong to resume volunteering at Tzu Chi recycling centre, saying that she and Lih Jing could provide transport. Saw Yong joyfully replied that doing recycling work had always been on her mind, while Yee Meng told his mother that he would like to tag along too. An eager Saw Yong asked Saw Tin when they could start, to which the latter replied, they could go once the pandemic situation improves, the MCO is relaxed and the recycling centre resumes operation. Saw Yong nodded her head and said to her son, “Let us go and do recycling work together! Good!” Postscript: Lih Jing had continued to make enquiries and discovered that Saw Yong’s husband met with an accident before March 2020, and was sent to a nursing home. Lih Jing has also tried to contact Saw Yong’s daughter, who is living abroad, hoping that the family can reunite. The volunteers continue to shower the mother and son with lots of love and warmth, accompanying them through these difficult times and helping them regain their happiness. Law Saw Yong and Ooi Yee Meng thanked Tzu Chi volunteers for helping to tidy their house. They also donated the money in their coin bank to Tzu Chi for charity.
