Traffic was also interrupted, as several roads were closed due to flooding, landslides or collapsing road structures. This included a stretch of road on the East Coast Highway between the Sri Jaya and Gambang interchanges, where users heading to Kuantan and Kuala Lumpur were advised to postpone their trips, and a good portion of the Bentong-Raub trunk road destroyed by a landslide.
