Volunteers from Ladysmith drove 200 km— about two and a half hours—to deliver food to them. Led by villagers on horseback, volunteers distributed the aid to 60 families. Many wells there had dried out, worsening the local health and hygiene situation. Tzu Chi volunteers led villagers in Domboshava, about 30 km from Harare, the national capital, in drilling a well. When the well was finished, volunteers pumped it many times before the water finally cleared and clean water began gushing out. [Photograph by Hlengisile Jiyane] 1. Tunisia 2. South Sudan 3. Kenya 4.
