REUNION 2022

In 2020, due to the worldwide pandemic, we needed to move to online classes. Despite not being able to attend physical lessons, our learning continued, and everyone quickly adapted to the new ways of learning. However, online classes are sometimes tiring as we have to look at our devices until midafternoon. This situation lasted for about 2 years. So, when it was announced that students could resume physical learning, most of us were thrilled! We realized how much we have missed physical school and we were looking forward to going back to school. What a great reunion for all of us! Initially, there were still many restrictions in place to keep the pandemic in check, but things slowly improved when the SOPs and restrictions were relaxed as we adjusted ourselves to the new norm. Soon, we were able to utilize the facilities we have in school. We were able to go to the cafeteria and library during recess and lunch times. Learning became more fun as teachers engaged students with more interactive and fun activities. We had Tzu Chi Got Talent, Sports Day, and various competitions organized by the school. We have a way bigger learning space now. Students could spend more time interacting with their teachers and friends. These have made school life fun, lively and interesting every day! Indeed, this is the real school life that we have been waiting for all this while. Dear friends, we should be happy and grateful that we get to be in physical classes again after the pandemic. We get experiences and fun activities that we would not get online. We should be grateful to our teachers and friends, as, without them, the school will never be the same. We should be grateful for the reunion and respect our teachers and the school rules. As per the Jing Si Aphorism by Master Cheng Yen, “Be grateful always, for everything and everyone, at every moment”.
